Alternative Storage do not insure the contents of any storage unit as Alternative Storage does not know the extent of what is stored inside the unit. Renting a storage unit is similar to renting an apartment.  The same way your landlord doesn't insure your personal belongings, Alternative Storage doesn't insure your items either.  However, you are welcome to cover the items in your unit under your own homeowner's insurance.
